Tim Ryan announced as new chairman of Suffolk

Tim Ryan, managing director of Ryan Insurance Group has
been announced as the successor to Clive Thomas, the current chairman of
the Suffolk branch of the Institute of Directors.
Tim's first official engagement in his new role will be the 'Black and White'
gala Dinner to be held on the 20th September which, in association with
Lexus, is a charity event to raise funds for the Prince's Trust.
In announcing his successor, Clive Thomas said "Tim has been a great advocate
of the branch and in his role as Ambassador and Vice Chair, he has supported
me in driving the events programme, sponsorship profile and recruitment
drive to a height we have not achieved before. I wish Tim and his committee
of commmitted volunteers every success for the future and acknowledge their
dedication.
Tim Ryan said of his new appointment "There are exciting times ahead for
the branch and I look forward to the challenge of being at the helm as the
Suffolk branch of the IOD continues its development. Clive has achieved
great things with this dynamic branch and on behalf of the IOD both nationally
and locally, and the branch committee, I would like to publicly thank him
for his tireless enthusiasm and commitment".
